Downloading and Installing HellCraft Fonts

  1. Click here to download HellCraft Fonts

 This will download a self-extracting zipped file called HCFonts.exe. The file is 760 KB and contains 20 fonts.
  1. Double-click HCFonts.exe.
 This starts the Self-extractor. You will see a dialog box with some buttons.
  1. Click the Unzip button.
 The self-extractor will load the fonts into a folder on your Windows 95 Desktop called HCFONTS. (The full path is C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\HCFONTS.)
  1. Click the OK button and the click the Close button.
 This closes the Self-extractor program.
  1. Click the Start button at the lower left corner of your Windows 95 Desktop.
 The Start menu opens.
  1. Select Settings to Control Panel.
 The Control Panel window opens.
  1. Double-click the Fonts icon.
 The Fonts window opens.
  1. Click the File menu and select Install New Fonts.
 The fonts will install to your system, and will be available to all programs able to use True Type fonts. You may delete the HCFONTS folder.

Downloading and Installing HellCraft Sounds

  1. Click here to download the HellCraft Sound Scheme

 This will download a self-extracting zipped file called HellCraft Sound Scheme.exe. The file is 1.2 MB and contains 22 sound files.
  1. Double-click HellCraft Sound Scheme.exe.
 This starts the self-extractor. You will see a dialog box with some buttons.
  1. Click the Unzip button.
 The self-extractor will load the sound files into the MEDIA sub-folder in your WINDOWS folder. (The full path is C:\WINDOWS\MEDIA.)
  1. Click the OK button and then click the Close button.
 This closes the self-extractor program.
  1. Click the Start button at the lower left corner of your Windows 95 Desktop.
 The Start menu opens.
  1. Select Settings to Control Panel.
 The Control Panel window opens.
  1. Double-click the Sounds icon.
 The Sounds dialog box opens.
  1. Select Asterisk under Events.
 The item highlights.
  1. Click the down arrow under Name and select HellCraft Asterisk.wav.
 This is the sound that will play whenever a Windows "Asterisk Event" occurs.
  1. Select Close Program under Events.
 The item highlights.
  1. Click the down arrow under Name and select HellCraft Close.wav.
 This is the sound that will play whenever a Windows "Close Program Event" occurs.
  1. Match the remaining events to the appropriate HellCraft sounds.
 These are the sounds that will play whenever a given event occurs.
  1. When you finish, click Save As...
 The Sound Scheme dialog box opens.
  1. Type HellCraft Sound Scheme and click OK.
 You name and save the sound scheme.
  1. Click OK.
 This applies the HellCraft Sound Scheme. You may delete HellCraft Sound Scheme.exe. You are now ready to annoy your spouse and/or co-workers.
